Terms of service

1. Acceptance and eligibility
Witan Way is an educational service operated by Witan Way Ltd. By creating an account or using the Lab, The Way, or the Charter, you accept these terms. The service is available worldwide and is intended for adults, aged 18 or over, who manage their own money. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the service is lawful where you live.
2. What Witan Way is — and is not
Witan Way is an educational publication and a set of research tools. It is not a broker, a fund, or an investment manager; it never holds client money, connects to a brokerage account, or executes orders. Nothing in the service is personalised investment advice, portfolio management, or a solicitation to buy or sell. Every decision in your own account is yours alone.
3. The membership
The Charter — our weekly reading of the market — is free. A paid membership adds the Lab, the interactive strategy workshop, and The Way, the curriculum. Access is personal and non-transferable, granted to you for your own use. We may add, change, or retire features of the service over time.
4. Trial, billing and cancellation
A membership begins with a 30-day trial. We keep a card on file and email you before the trial ends; if you cancel during the trial, you are never charged. After the trial, the membership is billed in advance — monthly or annually, as chosen at checkout, at the rate shown at the time of purchase. You can cancel at any time: a monthly plan stops at the next billing date, and an annual plan runs to the end of the period already paid for.
5. No refunds
Because the 30-day trial lets you use the full service before any charge, membership fees are non-refundable once billed. Cancelling stops future billing; it does not refund the current period. This does not affect any mandatory refund or withdrawal right you may have under the law that applies to you.
6. Acceptable use and content protection
The strategy parameters, the curriculum, the daily signals, and the Charter are provided for your personal use. You may not copy, redistribute, resell, scrape, or publish them outside that use. Certain content is watermarked to enforce this. All intellectual property in the service belongs to Witan Way Ltd or its licensors; nothing here transfers ownership to you.
7. Availability, and no warranty
We work to keep the service available and accurate, but it is provided 'as is' and 'as available', without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. Market data may be delayed or contain errors, and features may be interrupted or withdrawn. Capital is at risk in any market, and simulated or past behaviour of a strategy is no indication of future results.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Witan Way Ltd is not liable for any trading or investment losses, or for any indirect or consequential loss, arising from your use of the service or from any decision you make in your own account. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
9. Suspension and termination
You may cancel your membership at any time. We may suspend or end access if these terms are breached — for example, by redistributing protected content — with reasonable notice where practicable. On termination, your right to use the paid service ends; the clauses that by their nature should survive, such as content protection, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law, continue to apply.
10. Changes to these terms
We may amend these terms with reasonable notice. The version in force when you were last billed remains binding for that billing period. Continued use of the service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.
11. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Mauritius, where Witan Way Ltd is incorporated, and the courts of Mauritius have jurisdiction — without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you hold under the law of your own country of residence.
